Swatches & Speed Reviews - 100% Pure, BareMinerals, Physicians Formula, & Laura Mercier

Time for a long overdue round of Swatches & Speed Reviews!  Check 'em out and let me know if you've tried (or want to try) any of the products.

100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Pot Rouge in Posey, $15 USD

100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Pot Rouge in Posey, swatch

Love the small packaging and super crazy pigmentation of this blush.  A little goes a long way 'cause it's BRIGHT.  Stays on my oily skin!  Win!

LB Rating: A

BareMinerals High Shine Eyecolor, $16 USD eachBareMinerals High Shine Eyecolor swatches in Glisten (L) & Moonshine (R)

LOVE.  I have nothing but pure love for these eye shadows!  The name says it all, they're very shiney and pigmented.  Quality stuff!

LB Rating: A

BareMinerals Lip Gloss

BareMinerals Lip Gloss swatch

I have no idea what the name of this lip gloss is 'cause the name scatched off.  Doesn't really matter, though, since it's not all that great.  The color is pretty, but it smells very "lipstick-ish" and doesn't last long on the lips at all. Meh.

LB Rating: D

Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Eye Candy Palette in Green Eyes, $12 USDPhysicians Formula Shimmer Strips Eye Candy Palette in Green Eyes swatches

Great colors, inexpensive, could be more pigmented.  But, hey, pretty good for drugstore!

LB Rating: B

Laura Mercier Shimmer Block in Peach Mosiac, $38 USDLaura Mercier Shimmer Block in Peach Mosaic, swatched indiviually (from left) and blended together

This highlighter is SO pretty! The shimmer is very subtle and gives cheeks a natural-looking glow without screaming sparkle.  It also looks great as eye shadow!  The price is way too high for what it is though.

LB Rating: B+ (too pricey!)

What do you think?  Have you tried any these products?

Disclosure: Some products were bought by myself and some were given to me as gifts.

Monday Manicure: Essie Master Plan & CND Amethyst Sparkle

Hey from Pohang, South Korea!  I missed you guys and blogging SO much.  Thanks for being patient while I get settled into my new environment.  I'm LOVING it so far.  The best way to describe my area is that it's a smaller town with a big city feel.  Anyway, more on that later.  Tell me what you want to know about living here!

Moving on...

My nails had been NAKED for 2 weeks before painting them last night.  Beauty sacrilege, I know!

I brought mostly neutral colors with me only find out that I'm allowed to have crazy, fun nails at work!  Thank the universe Korea has tons of cheap, quality nail polish.  I fear for my bank account.

I'm required to keep my appearance and nails toned down this week and next, though, so I had to keep it neutral. I went with Essie Master Plan with CND Amethyst Sparkle on top for little, well, sprakle.

I start work today! I'm excited and nervous, but I know I'll do well. #confidence

How's everything in your neck of the woods? What's on your nails this week?

Disclosure: Essie was bought by myself, CND was a gift.
